Individualized Home Supports Without Training

Individualized Home Supports Without Training services provide support, assistance and supervision to adults or children who live in their own homes. A staff person provides direct supervision, cueing, guidance, instruction, assistance with activities of daily living, or assistance with coordinating and attending community living activities. Individualized Home Supports Without Training services can be provided in the person’s own home or community.

Individualized Home Supports Without Training was created through the State of Minnesota Waiver Reimagine project, and it combines the previous services of Personal Support and Adult Companion.

Individualized Home Supports Without Training services are available to people on the:

  • Brain Injury (BI) Waiver
  • Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI) Waiver
  • Community Alternative Care (CAC) Waiver
  • Developmental Disabilities (DD) Waiver

Respite

Respite is a short-term care service intended to provide a break to an individual’s primary caregiver. Respite may be provided in the individual’s home or the respite provider’s home.  This service is available under various payment options including, Medical Assistance Home and Community Based Services (waiver programs), and private pay.

24-hour Emergency services

Our trained emergency response team provides peace of mind to clients and families through our around-the-clock emergency
support and assistance. Whether you need an immediate over-the-phone crisis intervention, or an in-person and hands-on intervention, our response team is always available.

Homemaker Services

We provide and offer Homemaking Services to avoid dangerous, increasing the risk of injury or illness. Homemaking helps get through all the struggles and the needs at home. This offers practical assistance with routine household tasks and related activities to enable your loved one to remain in a safe, clean, and healthy home environment. Homemaker Services range from light household cleaning and laundry to assistance with home management and activities of daily living. Home Management includes:

  • Meal preparation
  • Tidying the bathroom
  • Vacuuming
  • Making the bed
  • Dusting
  • Sweeping
  • Mopping
  • Shopping for food, clothes and supplies
  • Washing dishes
  • Taking the garbage out
  • Change Linens
  • Run Errands
  • Laundry
  • Housekeeping
  • Arranging for transportation

Night Supervision Services

Night Supervision Services consist of overnight assistance and monitoring provided by an awake staff in the client’s home. Night Supervision tasks include reinforcing independent living skills, monitoring for safety and assisting with activities of daily living. Night Supervision Services are available to people on either the 

  • Developmental Disabilities (DD) Waiver
  • Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI) Waiver.
